The thriving community at Melbourne Central Catholic High School is one of the many aspects that sets the school apart from the rest. MCC is supported in many ways by its exceptional faculty and staff, strong parent and grandparent groups, and the involved and growing alumni population.
Each of these groups believe in the mission of Melbourne Central Catholic enough to give countless volunteer hours, to stay connected with the school, and to make financial contributions to ensure MCC’s success today—and in the future.
Parents make up two powerful leadership groups—the Parents Guild and Champions Club. Combine their tireless dedication and the Dinner Auction’s $125,000 fundraising efforts, and you’ll see that Melbourne Central Catholic has a winning combination. Grandparents provide a tremendous amount of familial support to the parents, students, and MCC. In recognition of their importance, the school celebrates its grandparents annually during the Grandparent’s Day Mass.
Faculty at Melbourne Central Catholic are known for going above and beyond with their students—whether it be through afternoon tutoring, coaching a favorite sport, or acting as a mentor when a student needs a friend. Behind the scenes, our staff members give 100% to ensure that the school runs smoothly every day.
There is no other group at Melbourne Central Catholic like our vivacious concentration of alumni! Ranging from the Inaugural Class of 1965 to the most recent Class of 2012, MCC alumni never cease to amaze us with the connections they make with one another and the post-graduation accomplishments they earn. While ages and interests may vary, all alumni have one thing in common: they share the same core values celebrated at MCC.
