Kathy Gotshall Scholars

Kathy Gotshall began teaching at MCC in August of 1979 sharing her love of Science with students for more than thirty years. Kathy retired as Principal in 2011 and in 2018 was diagnosed with ALS and lost her battle with the disease in 2020. Her husband Bob established The Kathy Gotshall Memorial Scholarship in her memory.

On Monday, May 10, the first eight Kathy Gotshall Scholars met with Bob Gotshall. During the meeting, alumna Allison Reynolds '01 provided insight into Kathy's life and her impact on MCC and Bob shared Kathy's numerous accomplishments outside of MCC.

Congratulations Emma Cassidy, Steven Klassen, Carmen Benitez, Andres Cespedes, Mellina Fair, Hayden Deane, Amelia Gagnon and John Cassidy.
