News Details

Dear members of the MCC Family,

We write to share an important update with you regarding the athletic eligibility process at MCC. We recognize many of our families won’t check email regularly during the summer months; we also know many are making plans for the fall now, so we want to share this information without delay.

In collaboration with the Florida High School Athletic Association, we have converted our student-athlete eligibility process to an online platform called Athletic Clearance. Athletic Clearance partners with FHSAA’s internal information management system, Home Campus.

Moving forward, our families will no longer need hard copy eligibility packets. Instead, they will create an account and an online profile for themselves and their child(ren) on Athletic Clearance. They will be prompted to upload a copy of a current physical examination and electronically sign all required eligibility forms for athletic participation. Families will receive an immediate message confirming successful submission, and a subsequent email upon further review either confirming student-athlete eligibility or requesting additional or corrective action.

The entire task takes just a few minutes and will make the process smoother, simpler, and more secure. We are excited to provide our families with this upgrade, and we appreciate the feedback that led us to pursue this option.

If your family plans to participate in athletics at MCC in 2022-2023, please take a few minutes to review the written instructions below. Then, follow the steps to create your accounts and profiles and get your student-athletes cleared for athletic participation for the coming school year. If you have any questions or concerns, we are here to help. Your point of contact for Athletic Clearance is Ms. Karin Elsea. Her email is

Thank you for your continued commitment to MCC athletics!
