Ways to Visit MCC
After my youngest son shadowed students at Melbourne Central Catholic in 8th grade, I asked him how he felt.
Typical of a teenager, he gave me a one-word answer: “Included.”
That single word gave me all the context I needed. He felt like he belonged. He felt welcome. And that sense of belonging will shape his entire high school experience.
As a two-time MCC parent, I’ve explored academic and social options across the county to find the right fit for my children. MCC blends the best of both worlds, offering the support of a close-knit community alongside top-tier academics, extracurriculars, and faith-based values. From AP scholars to students who benefit from more individualized support, MCC encourages students to grow and define success on their terms.
But what stood out most to both of my children wasn’t just the academics. It was the culture.
At MCC, success has never been measured by outperforming classmates. It's been becoming the best version of yourself. Students are encouraged to pursue their goals, try new things, and develop into confident, capable young adults.
I’m incredibly grateful our family is part of this community. MCC prepares young men and women for successful college experiences. But more importantly, MCC is where students discover who they are and what they’re capable of becoming.
