College Partnerships

MCC partners with Florida Tech to allow qualified juniors and seniors to begin their college career while enrolled in high school. This collaboration enables MCC students to enroll at Florida Tech and earn up to 24 credit hours at no additional tuition cost. MCC students attend classes during the school day on the Florida Tech campus in collaboration with their traditional high school classes at MCC. Students may use Florida Tech credits to fulfill MCC graduation requirements.

Entrance requirements include a minimum of a B in related high school coursework, a counselor recommendation, and an SAT minimum of a 550 in Math and 550 in Evidence-Based Reading and Writing. We also accept comparable ACT scores (Composite 26).

Through this opportunity, students gain access to Florida Tech’s first-rate faculty and state-of-the-art research and laboratories and will be guaranteed admission to a Florida Tech degree program if they have completed at least 6 semester credit hours with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.

MCC partners with Barry University to allow qualified juniors and seniors to begin their college career by taking college-level theology courses while enrolled in high school. This collaboration enables MCC students to enroll at Barry University and earn up to 12 credit hours at no additional tuition cost. MCC students attend classes on MCC's campus during the regular school day. 

Entrance requirements include an A in theology coursework, a theology faculty recommendation, and an SAT minimum of a 440 in Math and 440 in Evidence-Based Reading and Writing. We also accept comparable ACT scores (Composite 19).
