Our History

History

For over forty years Melbourne Central Catholic High School has been providing a quality Catholic-valued education for young men and women in Brevard County. It has been recognized as a National Blue Ribbon School of Excellence and ninety-eight percent of its graduating seniors continue on to college. The 119 members of the senior Class of 2005 earned $5.1 million in scholarships and grants, had 4 military appointees, and 5 full athletic scholarships.

 

Community Service and Stewardship
MCC students perform over 20,000 hours annually of community service to local organizations, including nursing homes, hospitals, Habitat for Humanity, Sharing Center, Daily Bread, Easter Seals, Beach Clean-up Corps, local parish churches and hundreds of other organizations, which need caring volunteers.

The students of MCC annually sponsor the Pasta for Pennies, Relay for Life, Blood Bank.
