Athletics > Drugs/Alcohol Policy

Athletes who use drugs/alcohol at off campus, non school functions will be subject to the following actions:

First offense: suspension

Football- 1 game

Cheerleading during football season- 1 game

Track, tennis, golf, swimming, cross country- 2 games

Basketball, baseball, volleyball, softball, soccer, and cheerleaders and stingers during non- football season- 3 games

First offenses at a school sanctioned event will double the first offense penalty.

Second offense:

The student/athlete will not represent Melbourne Central Catholic in any school related athletic activity for one full year.
