Florida Bright Futures Scholarship Program

The Florida Bright Futures Scholarship Program establishes three lottery-funded scholarships for Florida high school graduates who demonstrate high academic achievement and enroll in eligible Florida public or private postsecondary institutions.

In December of a student's senior year of high school, the guidance office will coordinate the submission of the Bright Futures Scholarship application for review by the State Department of Education's Bright Future's Office.  Seniors will begin receiving confirmation of their eligibility for this scholarship during spring.
