College Scholarships

Scholarships are offered throughout the school year by various universities/colleges, business, corporations and private organizations. Here is a listing of the latest opportunities:

Brandon Witcher Memorial Scholarship-- Available to senior athletes.  Brandon was honest, hard working, friendly, outgoing, and showed leadership in the classroom and off the field.  Please note that GPA is not a major deciding factor for this scholarship.  We are looking for applicants who best represent what Brandon stood for and who mirror his personality and lust for life.  Deadline:  March 26

The Matthew Riebsame Memorial Scholarship- Is awarding a $1,000 scholarship to a scholar/athlete who participated in a minimum of one full athletic season.  Preference will be given to individuals who hold a minimum 3.0 GPA and who participated in more than one sport for more than one year. See Guidance for an application.  Deadline April 23

Northrop Grumman Engineering Scholarship—Is open to all Brevard County students planning to enroll in an accredited Engineering Program.  Five $10,000 scholarships to be awarded over 4 years. Must have a minimum composite SAT score of 1900 (700 math, 600 critical reading, 600 writing) or composite ACT score of 28 (with math and science scores of 30 or better). Deadline:  March 26

AES Engineers--Is pleased to be able to renew their scholarship offer for 2010. The applicants are not required to be taking Engineering courses to be eligible.  To apply, students must submit an essay of more than 1000 words in answer to one of the two questions that are posted on their website at: http://www.aesengineers.com/scholarships. Amount of award is $500 Deadline:  October 8, 2010

Brevard Seminole Club- Is offering the Jack Sinclair scholarship that is a $1,000 scholarship to seniors that have been accepted to Florida State University.  To be considered for this scholarship, please email the following:

  • Resume- . Include work experience and school involvement
  • One page word document explaining why you have decided to attend FSU
  • A letter of recommendation from a teacher or guidance counselor

You need JavaScript enabled to view it .  Recipients will be notified the week of April 12thand will be invited with your immediate family to the Inaugural Jimbo Fisher Dinner Banquet on Friday, April 23rd, where you will be presented with the scholarship among honored guests including Mr. & Mrs. Jack Sinclair.
