Campus Life

campusCentral Catholic’s mission statement reads, “Central Catholic High School’s mission is to educate students in a Christ-centered, college preparatory environment with an emphasis on Catholic teachings and traditions. Through teaching and example, faculty members strive to guide their students to a personal acceptance of faith and to a respect for the life-long educational process. Central Catholic is committed to the cultivation of individual potential and to the graduation of sincere, educated and articulate Christians.”

With this mission, the students at Central Catholic are encouraged to participate in a variety of extracurricular activities in addition to their academic endeavors. Central Catholic recognizes that a superior education is one that is well-rounded—giving the students an abundance of varied experiences that will help ensure success as they transition into college-life and beyond.

In fulfilling this mission the school has flourished, expanding its academic offerings, fine-arts programs, athletic opportunities, and service-outreach programs. Providing a nurturing, Catholic atmosphere has moved far beyond weekly chapel programs, basic community service, and theology courses. In short, there are outstanding opportunities for knowledge and growth everywhere for students. Because of this, the faculty and staff are similarly tasked with helping students find the right balance for activities—one which encourages students to reach their fullest potential in school and one which still provides time for interests outside of Central Catholic.

So, whether the students have a passion for the fine arts or athletics, service work or spiritual development, their interests can easily be met—all while earning a superior, college-preparatory education.
