Principal's Message

Some say a picture is worth a thousand words–but as you look at our campus through pictures, it is important for me to add some personal words. Like pieces of a puzzle, the fundamental goals of Central Catholic High School fit together and create an outstanding educational community.

The challenge of the school is to create a superior college-preparatory education in an environment marked by high expectation for our students. Our students work with committed teachers and coaches who serve as educators, advisors and mentors. A common scene at Central Catholic is small groups of teachers or coaches working with students to reach a goal. I see these small group gatherings every day in classrooms, at lunch, before and after school, and on our practice fields and performance stages.

The high school years are an important bridge between the beginning and end of formal education. They are the important years when children become young adults who must increase their confidence and independence, strengthen their character and values, and learn to be critical thinkers and writers. Teaching these qualities is what we do best. Central Catholic graduates are well equipped to move into the final years of formal education, and they matriculate to our nation’s most competitive colleges and universities.

As you visit Central Catholic through the pictures and words on our website, please know that behind them are true stories of growth, friendship, professionalism, and a steadfast commitment to excellence through a Catholic perspective.

God Bless,
Sue Rauch
